How Invisalign Technology Works
It all starts with getting an accurate impression of your mouth. Using a technologically advanced computer-generated system, our orthodontists will capture a 3D digital image of your mouth. This allows them to create customized aligner trays that are uniquely suited for you.
The Invisalign technology doesn’t just straighten your pearly whites but also corrects your misaligned bite, whether you have an overbite, open bite, underbite or crossbite, and does it more comfortably than cumbersome metal braces.
Wear It
Just wear your aligners around 20 to 22 hours a day, every day. This part is crucial if you want your teeth to shift according to your treatment plan. Of course, you take them out when you eat and when you want to do your daily oral hygiene routine because brushing and flossing your pearly whites is vital to keep them healthy and attractive at the end of your treatment time.
Switch It
You’ll be switching your aligners out about every two weeks. This means you’ll be visiting our office to check your progress and get your next set of aligners. Every time you wear a new set, your teeth will move a little closer towards your planned goal.
