Your orthodontist will begin by taking an impression of your teeth as they are. They will then send your impression to the lab. At the Incognito Lab they will use computer aided design to create braces that will be custom for your specific teeth. The Incognito brackets are made of gold alloy, which is both safe and durable. Then, using special technology a set of wires will be designed and set with specific precision. You should receive your about 6 weeks after the time you have your impressions taken.
The amount of time you’ll wear your Incognito braces will vary from patient to patient. Periodic visits will be necessary to track the progress.
During the first few weeks of wearing the Incognito braces, some patients experience some small issues with their speech while their mouth adjusts to having braces. These issues improve as the treatment continues to progress. There are also exercises that will help bring your speech back to where it was before you had Incognito braces installed.
