Now that the Tulsa State Fair is over, I’m sure many of your are looking to schedule your initial consultation with us here at True Smile. In scheduling your consultation, there may be some questions, or concerns regarding what actually happens during your first meeting with us. We figured we would fill you in on what you can expect when you come your favorite Tulsa orthodontist.
During your first visit with us, we’ll give you a tour of our facility, we’ll introduce you to the staff, and we’ll answer any questions, or resolve any concerns you might have about orthodontics. We’ll discuss what treatments might be best for you personally.
Your visit will include the following:
-We’ll review with your your medical history, as well as your dental history

-We’ll administer an oral exam and which might involve dental X-Rays.
-We’ll then lay out the treatment plan that we have customized to you and your orthodontic needs. We’ll be sure to discuss the options of ceramic braces, incognito braces, or Invisalign depending on your preference and our professional opinion.
-We’ll answer any questions regarding this plan, for example: If you actually need treatment or not, how long you should be receiving treatment, will any initial dental work need to be done such as tooth extraction, and any other questions you may have.
-We’ll explain what your insurance options are, as well as explain what the costs are, and what payment plans that are available.
Please remember, if you are under the age of 18, you will need to bring your legal guardian or parent to this initial consultation.
